Terms of service

Using the service

You must be authorized to install and operate the app for your Shopify store. You are responsible for your products, prices, orders, customer communications, and compliance with applicable law and Shopify’s terms. Do not misuse the service, bypass access controls, or upload unlawful content.

Your artwork

You and your customers retain rights to uploaded artwork. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload, display, and produce it. You authorize us to store, process, render, and deliver artwork only as needed to provide and support the service. We do not claim ownership of it.

Previews and production

Previews help communicate placement and color; they are not a guarantee of the finished product. Screen printing, separations, embroidery digitization, and physical fulfillment are performed by you or your production provider. Print Studio does not generate embroidery stitch files. Verify artwork quality, production dimensions, color, and placement before producing an item.

A saved design is not evidence of payment. Print Studio matches order items to saved designs using Shopify order notifications, the product and variant, and the signed design proof. Payment and cancellation status reflect the latest notification received. Print Studio does not require a design at checkout. Keep downloaded production files and proof links private.

Monthly plans and billing

Monthly plans per store: Starter $19 USD for 10 customizable products and 1 GiB storage; Shop $39 USD for 50 products and 5 GiB; Studio $69 USD for 200 products and 20 GiB. All plans include all current features and a 14-day trial for eligible merchants. Monthly plans have no per-order fees or automatic paid upgrades. Only products with customization enabled count; sizes and colors are included in the same product. Storage includes originals, edited artwork and proofs, with 10,000 / 50,000 / 200,000 files respectively. Existing order files stay accessible at plan limits while the app is installed, subject to the privacy and retention policy. Your approved Shopify plan selection controls the applicable price, currency, trial eligibility, billing cycle, taxes, and any plan changes. Charges are handled through Shopify.

You can manage available plans through Billing or cancel by uninstalling the app in Shopify. Cancellation and refund treatment follow the approved Shopify billing terms and applicable law. Contact us with billing questions. New customizations require an active plan; existing design exports and privacy tools remain accessible while the app is installed.

Existing legacy subscriptions retain their approved usage pricing until the merchant chooses a monthly plan: no monthly fee; $1.00 for the first 100 personalized order items, $0.50 for the next 900, $0.25 for the next 9,000, then $0.10 each, in USD. Each personalized order line counts once in a paid order, regardless of quantity. Legacy tiers reset per store’s Shopify billing cycle. Previews and abandoned carts are free. Switching is optional. Already accrued charges may still appear after a switch; new monthly-plan sales do not generate usage charges.

Plan allowances and retained files

All current features are included during the selected plan’s trial. Previously consumed trial days may reduce eligibility. Plan changes require merchant selection through Shopify. We do not automatically upgrade a plan or bill overages.

At the product allowance, disable another product or select a larger plan. After a downgrade, the oldest configured enabled products remain available up to the allowance; additional products pause new customizations until you free a slot or upgrade. Storage and file limits pause new saves, not existing downloads. Saved designs and library artwork remain until deletion or a privacy request; unreferenced customer uploads become eligible for cleanup after 30 days. Availability and limits

The app supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP uploads up to 10 MB and 36 megapixels. Current limits include 10 uploads per designer session and 200 MB of inbound uploads per store per day. We may apply reasonable restrictions to protect the service. Keep your own production records and artwork backups. We may modify or suspend service for maintenance, abuse, legal requirements, or security issues.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or guaranteed production results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our Privacy policy explains data handling and deletion.
